information both from internal resources, as well as from customer locations, outsourced
repair and logistics sites, and supply sources. MCA’s SPO™coordinates
relevant service data from decision support network and transaction systems, providing
visibility to managers, planners, and external trading partners.
Capabilities
With a security model that provides user-specific views, SPO allows collaboration
across the supply chain with customers and suppliers, including:
- Sharing of replenishment plans with suppliers
- Input of committed supply plans by suppliers
- Collaborative forecasting with customers, optimizing stocking levels for customer-owned
locations (supporting VMI)
- Collaborative forecasting with maintenance providers to allow input and review of
requirements driven by maintenance schedules
