Boeing BDS
To keep bombers, tankers and other warfighters battle-ready, defense-sector organizations increasingly rely on outside contractors to manage weapons and fleet parts supply chains. Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is one such contractor that implemented the MCA Solution Suite for increased efficiency and value.
Boeing BDS first implementation of the MCA Solution Suite was to support its F/A-18 E/F Integrated Readiness Support Teaming (FIRST) program with the U.S. Navy. The implementation - which was completed on time and on budget - allows Boeing planners to forecast and position service parts in the Navy delivery network, as well as determine optimal order quantities for internal replenishment, repair orders, and new-buy orders. Boeing is now live on multiple programs for the US Army, Air Force, Navy, and foreign military services.
